<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Research Associate on the project: Integrated Scientific Modelling and Lab Automation for Molecular Programming, working with Professor Luca Cardelli, and sponsored by a Royal Society Research Professorship, in collaboration with other groups and projects, for a period of up to 3 years. This is an ideal opportunity for recent PhD/DPhil graduate to further develop their abilities, increase their visibility, and build on their academic profile.</p><br> <p>More information about activities in molecular programming, as well as modelling, verification and synthesis for DNA computing can be found here:</p><br> <p>http://lucacardelli.name/<br> <br>www.cs.ox.ac.uk/marta.kwiatkowska/<br> <br>www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/group/biological-computation/</p><br> <p>You should have a doctoral degree in computer science, mathematics or related discipline (or be very close to completion), together with demonstrable experience in two or more of: molecular programming, formal methods, and real analysis. You should also have the ability to manage your own academic research and associated activities, and you would be required to publish multiple papers and have a documented track record of the ability to conduct and complete research projects.</p><br> <p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 12 January 2018. Interviews are expected to be held on 17 January 2018.</p><br> <p>Please note that the University of Oxford's retirement policy has changed. With effect from 1 October 2017, all employees at Grade 8 and above have a retirement age of the 30 September before the 69th birthday. All employees at Grades 1-7 do not have a set retirement age.
