Senior Software Developer

This post is a full-time appointment and is fixed-term until 31 July 2019. You will join an internationally-leading and rapidly growing research group, with research interests ranging from the logical foundations of information systems through to their implementation and deployment in large scale applications. For more information see: www.cs.ox.ac.uk/isg/</p><br> <p>The role will be to help in the implementation of software systems developed by the group, including the RDFox triple store and surrounding infrastructure, and data integration and query optimisation systems being developed in the PDQ project. You should have the confidence and ability to help us to expand the capabilities of these systems, to participate in key technology decisions, and to help to determine the direction of development. A PhD in Computer Science (or related discipline), good working knowledge of C++, experience of semantic web technologies (especially RDF and OWL), and familiarity with non-relational storage systems are highly desirable.</p><br> <p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 22 February 2018.</p> </div>
