<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>The Faculty are seeking to appoint an IT Officer on a permanent full-time basis.</p><br> <p>The post will involve front-line support for the IT needs of teaching, research and administration in the Faculties of Linguistics, Philology, and Phonetics and Modern Languages.</p><br> <p>The IT Officer will divide their time between the two Faculties to be flexibly distributed according to contingencies, as determined by the IT Manager. Occasional out-of-hours working may be required. Most of the duties relate to facilities currently in or near to Wellington Square, although the duties also involve some support for faculty members working in colleges.</p><br> <p>Applicants must possess experience in an IT support role, have an active interest in languages and IT applications in the humanities and have a good standard of education to &#145;A&#146; level standard or beyond.</p><br> <p>Additional information and details about how to apply are included in the further particulars which are available below.</p><br> <p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Friday 22 June 2018.</p> </div>
