Departmental Lecturer in New Testament

The Faculty of Theology and Religion, in association with Keble College, is
seeking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in New Testament to play an active
role in both undergraduate and graduate teaching. The postholder will also
engage in advanced study as part of the vibrant research environment in New
Testament studies and will have opportunities to develop their career in
research, teaching and collaborative work.



This is a full-time, fixed-term post available for 1 year from 1 October 2018.



The successful candidate will hold or be close to completing a relevant
PhD/DPhil in New Testament Studies.



They will have a sufficient depth and breadth of knowledge in the subject to
develop course materials as well as an appropriate publication record and
familiarity with the existing literature.

Experience of individual or small group teaching would be an advantage as
would evidence of the ability to teach across the full breadth of New
Testament papers.
