Open-Oxford-Cambridge AHRC DTP2 Manager

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>We are seeking an experienced manager to provide administrative leadership for the recently established Open-Oxford-Cambridge AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership, a consortium of the three universities for doctoral training and funding in the Humanities.</p><br> <p>A highly motivated individual, you will manage the delivery of the DTP&#146;s strategy and vision on behalf of the consortium. Leading the DTP administrative team based in Oxford, you will build strong relationships and work closely and collaboratively with colleagues across the three universities and with our three strategic partners, as well as other organisations.</p><br> <p>The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively and gain the confidence of a wide range of people, including students, academic staff, senior University officers, and all grades of administrative and support staff. The post is likely to involve extensive consultation and negotiation on the different aspects of the delivery of the DTP with colleagues across the three universities, and you will be expected to demonstrate a diplomatic and consensual approach to problem-resolution. The ability to handle and prioritize a complex portfolio of responsibilities in a challenging environment, showing equally high effectiveness in contributing to strategic thinking and in undertaking key operational tasks, is another quality essential to this role.</p><br> <p>Applications for this post must be made online.
