Research Facilitator

The Humanities Division is recruiting two research facilitators. The first
post will support a group of faculties: English; Linguistics, Philology and
Phonetics; and Medieval and Modern Languages. The second post will support the
Faculty of History. Each post has a separate application process and different
deadline. This advertisement is for the post supporting English, Linguistics,
Philology and Phonetics, and Medieval and Modern Languages. Please apply

The Research Facilitator post is challenging, requiring judgement,
responsibility, tact, and attention to detail while working in a busy
environment with frequent deadlines, spread across the year. Its reward is to
be embedded at the heart of one of the world’s finest universities helping
colleagues to achieve their research goals.



The Humanities Division has a strong track record of success in obtaining
external research grants from major sponsors including: the European Research
Council, Research Councils UK, the British Academy, the Leverhulme Trust, the
Mellon Foundation, and the Wellcome Trust. Research excellence is at the heart
of the Division, and the Research Facilitators play a critical role in
supporting Humanities research.
