Part-time Shelving Assistant (2 posts)

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>The Bodleian Libraries are seeking two part-time Shelving Assistants to work during term-time only in the iconic and busy Radcliffe Camera and the Gladstone Link which houses the History Faculty Library and Bodleian English and History undergraduate collections. You will be required to re-sensitise returned books, sort them for re-shelving and finally place them back on the shelf. The work is physical but also required a good eye for detail and accuracy as well as the ability to work independently.</p><br> <p>You will also have the ability to communicate effectively, confidently and courteously with readers, colleagues and the public and have an awareness of the importance of good customer care.</p><br> <p>These are permanent, variable hour posts. It is anticipated you will be working approximately 4 to 6 hours per week during term-time (weeks 0-8).
