<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PA to support the Head of the Humanities Division, providing comprehensive administrative assistance of the highest quality to the Head and acting as a key interface with a range of internal and external contacts. This responsible, demanding and pivotal position offers the opportunity to work at the centre of the Humanities Divisional Office, using a wide range of skill sets in supporting a vital function of the University.</p><br> <p>Key responsibilities of the post include: providing PA and other support to the Head of Division, including complex diary management and travel arrangements; event management, and ensuring the effective day-to-day organisation of the Head&#146;s business and all aspects of meeting support. Additional responsibilities include supervision of the Radcliffe Humanities reception function.</p><br> <p>With experience of working at a senior administrative level in a similar role in a complex organisation, you will be a confident communicator and possess excellent written and oral communication skills, allied with an eye for detail. Demonstrating individual initiative, you will be able to work both independently and as part of an administrative team. You will also have strong organisational and prioritisation skills, along with excellent judgement, including in dealing with confidential matters. As the first point of contact for visitors to the Head, it is also important that you have a welcoming disposition and are able to exercise tact and discretion.</p><br> <p>This is a fixed-term position for 1 year from 1 January 2018 and is a full-time role, but consideration could be given to flexible working for suitable candidates.
