<p></p><p>The Department of Computer Science has a vacancy for two Research Associates in Systems Security. As a member of a research group led by Professor Ivan Martinovic, you will have the responsibility for carrying out research on Machine Learning applied to mobile security and side-channel analysis. You will also provide guidance to less experienced members of the group, including junior postdocs, research assistants, technicians, and PhD and project students.</p><br>
<p>You will hold a doctoral degree (or be close to completion) in computer science, have an excellent publication track record, have experience with machine learning techniques (application and programming), experience in security analysis of cyber-physical systems and biometric recognition systems (in particular, of deployed commercial systems), and extensive experience of working with biometric recognition (design, implementation, and analysis). Experience of independently managing a discrete area of a research project, and of actively collaborating in the development of research articles for publication is highly desirable.</p><br>
<p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 21 December 2018. Interviews are expected to be held in early January 2019.</p>
