<p></p><p>We have an opening for a full-time Research Associate to work within the Computational Cardiovascular Science Team until 30 September 2019, starting as soon as possible. Under the supervision of Professor Blanca Rodriguez (Professor of Computational Medicine) you will have responsibility for carrying out research on high performance computing simulations of the electromechanical activity of the heart with whole-ventricular models. As part of a collaboration, you will provide guidance to junior members of the group, including Research Assistants and students.</p><br>
<p>You will hold a PhD (or be close to completion) in computer science, biomedical engineering or related discipline, and possess knowledge/experience in high performance computing of cardiac electromechanical activity. Experience of actively collaborating in the development of research articles for publication is highly desirable.</p><br>
<p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 30 January 2019.</p><br>
