<p></p><p>The Faculty of Theology and Religion seeks to appoint a part-time (0.8FTE) Humanities and Healthcare Fellow to commence in October 2019. The appointment will be fixed-term until 30 September 2021. Candidates should be able to commence employment on or soon after 1 October 2019.</p><br>
<p>The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in the research and/or practice of humanities as it relates to medicine or health and a familiarity with recent literature on medical/health humanities, particularly as it relates to pedagogy. They will have an emerging record of published research in a relevant area and hold a PhD in any discipline related to humanities or the arts.</p><br>
<p>This is a part-time academic position focused on developing and evaluating a pilot humanities curriculum for a set of 5th year modules at the University of Oxford’s Medical School. It is part of a project, funded by the Oxford-Wellcome Institutional Strategic Support Fund, entitled ‘Advancing Medical Professionalism: Integrating Humanities Teaching in the University of Oxford’s Medical School’.</p><br>

<p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 30 August 2019. Interviews will take place in Oxford on 9 September 2019.</p>
