<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>An exciting opportunity is available to join Student Systems within The University of Oxford as an Apprentice Software Developer. The purpose of this post is to acquire the necessary skills in order to contribute to the support, design and implementation of solutions using a range of software applications including SITS:Vision, SQL and Microsoft Dynamics . This work supports a wide range of business processes associated with the management and support of student administration across the collegiate University.</p><br> <p>As well as learning basic software developer skills, the postholder will learn about the software development lifecycle and how this is implemented within the University. The postholder will work within a team including developers, analysts, change managers and business experts. The postholder will work with other colleagues in the Support Centre to transition their developments into live service and then help to support those developments.</p><br> <p>You should be able to demonstrate an interest in IT developments and applications. You should also possess good analytical and problem-solving skills as well as having a strong customer service focus.</p><br> <p>Applicants should have evidence of their eligibility to work in the UK. There is also government residency requirements for Apprenticeship funding which the Training Provider will be able to advise on.</p><br> <p>Becoming an apprentice at the University of Oxford is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and training.
