<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>THIS VACANCY IS FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY.</p><br> <p>The Humanities Division has embarked on a major building project on the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, following the recent announcement of the &#163;150 million gift to create the <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.schwarzmancentre.ox.ac.uk/">Stephen A Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities</a></p><br> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Director to play a fundamental role in the establishment, programming, and delivery of a high-profile cultural programme, which will offer an exceptional array of activities designed to engage new audiences, to be based in the new centre.</p><br> <p>This exciting role will provide operational oversight of extensive year-round cultural programming. The Managing Director will focus on activity in the years prior to the building&#8217;s opening, while also planning for the cultural programme that will be delivered once the building is completed.</p><br> <p>This role will oversee all administrative and organisational aspects of the cultural programming. Significant University public engagement and arts management experience is required, including excellent knowledge of financial operations and reporting, office and personnel management.
