We are looking to appoint an experienced manager to lead the administration of
Oxford University’s Faculty of Theology and Religion. This opportunity comes
at an exciting time as the Humanities Division is developing plans for seven
faculties (including Theology and Religion) to move to the new Schwarzman
Centre for the Humanities. The postholder would play a key role in supporting
the Faculty’s contribution to the Centre.



Leading an administrative and finance team, you will be responsible for the
effective and efficient day-to-day operation of the Faculty, which is one of
the Division’s ten faculties. Adept at strategic planning, you will work
closely with the Faculty’s academic staff and liaise regularly with
administrators, research facilitators, and finance staff within the Humanities
Divisional Office.



This is a permanent, full-time role (part-time arrangements (80%) may be
considered for suitably qualified candidates).



You will have proven management experience within higher/further education, a
public sector environment or other large, complex organisation, including
significant experience of personnel management and financial management, as
well as committee servicing. You will also have experience of facilities
operation, and service.



You will have strong organisational skills together with the ability to
prioritise and delegate appropriately. You will be an accomplished
communicator with effective interpersonal skills, able to work with and
inspire confidence in a wide range of people across the University and beyond.
