<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>The position of HR Assistant in the Faculty of Law is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in HR and Personnel.</p><br> <p>The purpose of the role is to help provide a personnel service to the staff with in the Law faculty which include recruitment, payroll and personnel administration. The successful applicant must be able to manage a busy and varied workload, cope with changing priorities and will report to the Personnel Officer.</p><br> <p>Applicants must have GSCE (grade A-C) level English and Maths, or equivalent; clerical or administrative work experience in a similar role; a good standard of written communication and attention to detail; effective interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate confidently with an extensive range of people; the ability to prioritise workload and produce accurate, detailed work within deadlines and an awareness of data protection and information security guidelines, and appropriate discretion when dealing with confidential information.</p><br> <p>Previous experience of working in a Personnel team and with CORE HR is desirable</p><br> <p>The post is permanent, full-time and will be based in the Faculty of Law, St Cross Road, St Cross Building, Oxford, OX1 3UL.</p><br> <p>You will be required to complete an application form and upload a supporting statement as part of your online application.</p><br> <p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 midday on Thursday 23 January 2020.</p> </div>
