<p>The History of Science Museum is seeking applications for the role of Collections Assistant within its Research, Teaching and Collections Section. The Assistant will provide key support for object collections management within the Museum and for the Collections Manager. They will also work closely with the Museum Conservator, other Collections colleagues, and provide input as required to cross-Division collections initiatives and major projects. The role encompasses the full range of collections management tasks typical of a small museum: documentation, management of visiting researchers, collections enquiries, loans management, input to exhibitions and displays, store management and collections care. The Collections Assistant will be based at the main Museum site on Broad Street and will report to the Head of Research, Teaching and Collections.
