Humanities Cultural Programme Senior Coordinator

Applications for this vacancy closed on 16 March 2020 at 12:00PM
The University of Oxford's Humanities Division is seeking a Senior Coordinator
to join the Humanities Cultural Programme, a new initiative of public events
powered by Humanities research.

The Humanities Cultural Programme offers events aimed at sharing Humanities
research with, and learning from, a broad array of audiences and partners,
local, regional and international. The Programme encompasses the range of
cultural expression, including art, music, theatre and dance. Currently based
in Radcliffe Humanities on the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, the Programme
will ultimately be located in the forthcoming new Stephen A Schwarzman
Humanities Centre, which will include dedicated performing arts and exhibition
venues.

We are now looking for a Senior Coordinator who will be responsible for the
day-to-day management of the Humanities Cultural Programme's activities and
administrative resources, ensuring that all administrative processes run
smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with the Head of Cultural
Programming and the Director of TORCH you will be involved in the design and
implementation of the planning and coordination of the Humanities Cultural
Programme, ensuring that it meets all the Divisional and University
requirements.

This is a challenging role requiring excellent project management and
organisational skills, as well as significant experience of financial and
personnel management, committee servicing and governance. You will work
largely independently, and need to relate well to staff at all levels, possess
strong written and oral communication skills, and have a firm understanding of
academic and research administration.

The post is fixed-term for 5 years and is full-time (part-time may be
considered).

For more information, contact Lynne Hirsch (lynne.hirsch@humanities.ox.ac.uk),
Head of Humanities Administration and Divisional Secretary.

Applications must be made online. You will be required to upload a CV and
supporting statement as part of your application.

The deadline for applications is 12.00 noon on Monday 16 March 2020.
