<p></p><p>The Faculty of Theology and Religion seek to appoint an Instructor in Ancient Hebrew to commence in October 2020. The appointment will be fixed-term until September 2023. Candidates should be able to commence employment not later than 1 October 2020.</p><br>
<p>The successful candidate will have excellent command of Ancient Hebrew and will have gained at least a Master's degree pertinent to the teaching of it. They will be fluent in English and be able to demonstrate a commitment to dynamic and effective language teaching.</p><br>
<p>The Instructor will be expected to give on average 15 hours of instruction in every week of the University's full-term (there are three terms, and the ‘full term' period within each term is 8 weeks) and to undertake administration, course development and examining when required.</p><br>
<p>The duties and skills required are described in more detail in the further particulars.</p><br>
<p>Please provide details of two referees.</p><br>
<p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 20 April 2020. Interviews will take place on 21 May 2020.</p>
