<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p><strong>THIS VACANCY IS FOR INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY</strong></p><br> <p>The Law Faculty is looking to appoint a coordinator between May and September 2020 to assist Professor Andrew Higgins, Access Co-ordinator for the Law Faculty, to design, organise and implement the Bridging programme, and to provide some teaching for it.</p><br> <p>The coordinator will report to Professor Andrew Higgins and will be supported by the Admissions and Outreach Officer. The primary duties of role would be to design, organise and implement the programme, and to teach some parts of the online learning component and residential programme (primarily skills training and aspects of Criminal, Constitutional and/or Roman Law).</p><br> <p>The candidate should be educated to degree level or equivalent, with an excellent educational record; experience of teaching Law in lectures and/or tutorials, preference will be given to a candidate who can teach one or more of the three Mods subjects offered by the Law Faculty; Roman Law, Constitutional Law or Criminal Law; experience in designing or delivering access and outreach activities; knowledge of pedagogical methods for legal studies and be familiar with or willing to learn and use Virtual Learning Environments, i.e. Canvas.</p><br> <p>The role is fixed-term until 30 September 2020 and the work is offered on a 0.2 FTE basis (7.5 hours per week). The hours will need to be spread unevenly across the period of the appointment. Owing to government restrictions, the University is currently closed. We expect the postholder to work remotely from home until the restrictions are lifted. Once the University reopens, the postholder will be required to be in Oxford regularly and must be based in Oxford full-time between 5 and 19 September.</p><br> <p>Please consult the job description and selection criteria for full details and further information.</p><br> <p>The closing date for applications is 12.00 midday on Thursday 11 June 2020.
