We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Research Assistant on the
project: Integrated Scientific Modelling and Lab Automation for Molecular
Programming, working with Professor Luca Cardelli, and sponsored by a Royal
Society Research Professorship, for a period of up to 30 March 2021. This is
an ideal opportunity for recent MSc graduate to further develop their
abilities, increase their visibility, and build on their academic prole. The
position is to be held at the Computer Science Department, University of
Oxford, between 1 April 2020 and 30 March 2021.

You should have a masters degree in computer science, mathematics or related
discipline, together with demonstrable experience in two or more of: molecular
programming, formal methods, and real analysis. You should also have the
ability to manage your own academic research and associated activities, and
you would be required to publish papers and have a documented track record of
the ability to conduct research projects. The post, which is a full-time
appointment, is funded by The Royal Society.



The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 2 March 2020. Interviews
are expected to be held around 16 March 2020.
