The Clinical informatics and Health Outcomes Research group (clininf.eu) led
by Prof Simon de Lusignan at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health
Sciences is expanding their team of researchers. The group works with large
primary care datasets, including hosting the Royal College of General
Practitioners (RCGP) Research and Surveillance Centre (RSC), the national
surveillance system for influenza and vaccine effectiveness
(www.rcgp.org.uk/rsc).



The successful candidate will support the surveillance, quality improvement
and research activities across the research group.



We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic individual, with an interest in
increasingly developing and using digital technologies to communicate with our
member practices. We are looking for a clear and effective communicator,
proficient in using Microsoft packages, online tools, working with data and
willing to conduct study visits to general practices. The post would suit
someone proactive and ambitious who has obtained a first degree or equivalent,
and ideally a Master's degree or experience in the healthcare field.

You will be based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences,
Eagle House, Walton Well Road, Oxford, OX2 6ED.



The post is fixed-term for one year in the first instance.



The closing date for applications is 12.00 midday on Monday 7th September.
Interviews will be held on Friday 18th September.
