<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join the Academic Appointments and HR Team in the Social Sciences Divisional Office. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in delivering HR and administrative support for a wide range of staff across the Division.</p><br> <p>As the HR Assistant, you will be part of a close-knit team that works hard to ensure the smooth running of academic HR for the Division&#8217;s 350 academic staff (Associate and Statutory Professors). You will also play an important role in delivering HR support for the divisional office, a large multi-functional professional services team.</p><br> <p>Reporting to the Division&#8217;s Academic HR Manager, you will be responsible for key monthly HR and payroll administration processes. You will support: recruitment and on boarding of new staff; probation, development reviews and leave for professional staff; sabbatical and special leave for academic staff; and the initial period of office process for new academics.</p><br> <p>This is a fantastic opportunity for a team player with strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of HR processes paired with professional experience in a fast-paced environment.
