<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We are seeking to appoint a post-doctoral researcher to support the Nolloth Professor of the Philosophy of the Christian Religion, Mark Wynn, in his project &#8216;God-Concepts and Spiritual Wellbeing&#8217;, funded by the John Templeton Foundation.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This strand of the project will draw on philosophical, theological and empirical methods, and make use of interviews as well as textual and other sources. Based in the Faculty of Theology and Religion at the University of Oxford, you will be part of a team working with scholars from a wide range of disciplines.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will hold or be close to completion of a doctorate in philosophy, theology or the study of religion, and will have expertise relevant to the use of empirical methods of research, especially interview-based research.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The duties and skills required are described in more detail in the further particulars.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This is a full-time post for 12 months, to start on 1 October 2021.</div><br> <div><br> <br>You will be required to upload a supporting statement, CV and names of referees as part of your online application.&#160;Interviews are planned to take place towards the end of April.</div> </div>
