**About the role**



The Faculty of Theology and Religion is seeking to appoint a part time (0.5
FTE) Programme Coordinator on a fixed term contract from December 2021 until
31 August 2023 to join its Oxford Character Project (Virtues and Vocations)
project group based in the Faculty of Theology and Religion.





The Project joins interdisciplinary research in character and leadership
development in four focal sectors – tech, finance, law and business – to the
development and delivery of character and leadership development programmes at
the University of Oxford and in partnership with other institutions.





As the Programme Coordinator, you will coordinate character and leadership
development programmes and programme events at the University of Oxford and in
conjunction with academic and industry partners, both in the UK and globally.
You will work closely with the Programme Manager and be responsible for
organising the programmes and events, including information sessions,
webinars, talks and workshops. Your role will include the promotion of the
programmes to and recruitment of students. The duties and skills required are
described in more detail in the job description.





**About you**



You will have an interest in understanding and promoting character and
leadership education, previous experience in delivering events, excellent
project management skills to deliver small events and a proven ability to
learn quickly, prioritise and manage a variety of tasks.





You will have a proven ability to work independently under pressure, meet
deadlines and prioritise competing responsibilities in a professional manner
while maintaining a positive attitude.





You will have adequate IT skills, an attention to detail, and excellent
interpersonal and communication skills.
