We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic person to provide administrative
support to the Inter-Faculty IT team based in the Humanities Division.





This is an exciting new full-time post providing administrative support for a
team of IT professionals across several faculties within the Humanities
Division at the University of Oxford. IT experience is not essential, but
accuracy, experience with Microsoft Office and the confidence to be proactive
in your approach to organisation would help the ongoing development of the
team and it’s evolving IT support services.





You will be responsible for providing thorough administrative support to the
Inter-Faculty Head of IT, including email management, fielding queries,
meeting logistics and other related matters. In this busy and varied role, you
will also play a vital part in the wider administration of the Inter-Faculty
IT team working collaboratively with the whole team.





You will have a role in planning events, communications and general project
management and administrative support that will enable the team to work
effectively together.





The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communications
skills, in person and in writing, and the ability to engage and communicate
effectively widely. They will have experience of meeting logistics, including
minuting and report creation, and will be able to manage and prioritise a busy
and varied workload. Excellent IT skills and a high level of accuracy and
numeracy are also required.
