<div>Applications are invited for a part-time (0.7 FTE) Research Software Engineer to work with Professor Dirk Van Hulle and his Co-Investigator Dr Mark Nixon on the project ‘Editing Beckett: Towards a Bilingual Digital Genetic Edition of Samuel Beckett’s Works’.</div><br>

<div>The post holder will be a member of a research team developing a digital genetic edition of Beckett’s works, and will have particular responsibility for the assisting with all aspects of digital archiving and editorial work as well as developing a digital manuscript chronology and facilitating distant reading across versions.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable experience in technical management of a digital scholarly edition or text-centred research project in a Digital Humanities context, experience of developing software for XML-based resources, and experience with multiple web development languages and collation tools.</div><br>
