CTU Senior Administrator

Applications are invited for a CTU Senior Administrator to provide
comprehensive professional administrative support to the unit in a supervisory
capacity, supervising the day-to-day operations of a team of trial
administrators. This is a new role within the CTU and a fantastic opportunity
to develop extensive experience of the unit in a multi-disciplinary team
environment.
The successful applicant will supervise the day-to-day operation of one of the
trial administration teams, including the allocation of work and staff
development requirements, proving pastoral care, training and support to staff
members where necessary. You will be able to communicate effectively with a
wide range of people with the ability to explore customer needs and ensure a
quality service is delivered.
You will have substantial administrative experience including setting up and
maintaining office systems and procedures. You will have experience of
supervising the work of others and of motivating others to deliver a quality
service to customers. You will need to be able to work unsupervised to
deadlines, proficient using Microsoft Office and in planning and monitoring
priorities.
You will be based in the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care
Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2
6GG.
The positions are funded for 24 months in the first instance.
