<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>Applications are invited for two Clinical Trial Safety Monitors to work on a new urgent UK Government national priority platform trial to find potential treatments for COVID-19 in the community (PANORAMIC). This is a fast paced and exciting trial and candidates will rapidly gain a wealth of experience in clinical trial safety.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will be an accredited medical doctor with relevant expertise whose primary responsibility is to provide independent safety monitoring in the clinical trial in a timely fashion. The successful candidate will also possess a knowledge of trial regulatory reporting requirements, excellent organisational and communication skills and will be a team player with outstanding attention to detail. Work undertaken will be indemnified by the University and NHS Trust.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>For the duration of this University academic post, it is expected that you will maintain registration with the GMC with a licence to practise and be either on the Specialist Register or the General Practitioner Register as appropriate.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be based in either the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG, or at the Oxford Respiratory Trials Unit, Churchill Hospital, OX3 7LE, as your normal place of work but cover across sites may be needed.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Weekend and out of hours working will be required along with some work related travel.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The positions are funded until 30 September 2023 in the first instance.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The closing date for applications is 4 March 2022 at 12pm.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>&#8220;Committed to equality and valuing diversity&#8221;</div> </div>
