This includes turning strategy into cross-functional aligned tactics. • Apply specialist expertise in Canvas and other Learning Management Systems. • Apply industry expertise and lead on evaluating shared services providers as potential partners for Oxford Saïd Online. • Apply specialist knowledge of consumers, clients, competitors, and the market to determine priorities, guidelines, and governance for shared services providers on design and production of high-quality online programmes for Oxford Saïd Online. • Define and follow robust product development processes and practices in partnership with the Associate Director, Educational Technology and Web Development Services, and other teams in the company. • Lead on module outlines and write / agree policies regarding effective learning outcomes for multiple projects in any given month. • Lead on projects as diverse as megacognition and self-regulation in partnership with our Manager, Academic Services. • Provide expertise on choice of online learning approaches and methodologies; faculty support; implement best practice throughout the participant or student experience; and strategically lead on the creation of a unique design methodology and ethos across Oxford Saïd Online modules and programmes. • Manage the design and production budget, meet, or exceed financial targets and develop workforce planning metrics for the creation of a workforce plan. • Apply expertise to develop standard processes, templates, programme design methodologies, and production guidelines including templating, style guides, for faculty and shared services partners, which incorporate quality assurance processes and standards. • Prepare new and refreshed modules for final QA sign off. Delivery and evaluation. • Lead a continuous programme of R&D to evaluate the success and effectiveness of online modules across the product portfolio. • Apply specialist expertise to set up key metrics for evaluating quality of outcomes across multiple simultaneous projects. Actively participate in programme reviews and use the results of metrics and evaluation exercises to implement changes to design, production, programmes/modules and improve delivery to participants and students. • Design and implement processes to streamline workflows to enable Oxford Saïd Online to develop a consistent and scalable approach to online learning. • Participate in appropriate university groups and committees concerned with Oxford Saïd Online • Keep abreast of developments in online learning in HE and collaborate with partner management schools to develop best practice.
