You will be an experienced member of the team providing technical and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the laboratories. Responsibilities    The post-holder will work alongside PDRAs and PhD students in their laboratorybased projects focusing on superconducting quantum devices development. Responsible for managing software codes to conduct experiments efficiently and maintaining quality control Maintain a database, run reports and interpret results  Write up experimental results which would occasionally contribute to small sections (methodology, tables) of publications  Manage experiments manually, building electronics and/or mechanical components required for experiments, component specification and purchase, data presentation, analysis and interpretation etc. Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the laboratory, e.g. by ensuring equipment is functioning and monitoring and ordering stock as necessary Maintain equipment, including washing, sterilisation and disposal, perform quality checks and contribute to the general cleanliness and upkeep of the laboratory space        Provide a point of reference for less experienced team members Liaise with providers and assist in arranging service contracts such as electronic and mechanical workshops, purchasing department, external collaborators, external vendors for components built, procurement, design and test. Write and review basic operating procedures The post may involve travelling nationally or abroad to assist collaborator in device fabrication using their clean room facilities.
