As the MFE and DPhil Marketing Manager, you will be a key member of the Corporate Marketing & Communications Team, reporting directly to the Head of Customer Marketing. Your primary responsibility will be to support student recruitment for the MSc Financial Economics (MFE), DPhil Management Studies and MSc Law and Finance programmes. Additionally, you will provide marketing support to other accredited degree and Executive Education Programmes to achieve their respective targets.

 

Key responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute effective international marketing plans to attract high-quality leads and enhance programme profiles.

  • Manage the implementation of marketing plans, including budget accountability and regular reporting on spending and campaign effectiveness.

  • Conduct market research and build relationships with students and alumni to understand programme motivations and inform future marketing strategies.

  • Utilise various marketing activities and media, with a focus on digital marketing, to generate quality leads and refine strategies based on analysis.

  • Assist in organising and promoting events, both locally and internationally, as part of the business development strategy.


You should have demonstrated experience in developing, planning, implementing and evaluating integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including online platforms. You must also have a proven track record of budget management and be proficient in social media marketing, with the ability to leverage its opportunities effectively. Additionally, you should have experience in direct/database marketing and writing compelling marketing communications for diverse audiences and channels.

The right candidate will have proven experience of working in a busy, sometimes pressured environment and ability to work supportively in a matrixed team. Responsibilities • Lead on the development of an effective international marketing plan that will generate the required number of high-quality leads and build the profile of the programmes. • Manage the implementation of the marketing plan with direct accountability for the portfolio marketing budget of approximately £100,000, reporting back on spending to the Programme Directors and the Finance team at agreed intervals. The MFE and DPhil Marketing Manager will be responsible for working with external suppliers and liaising with internal teams to develop and implement differentiated and integrated marketing plans and campaigns that cut through to meet the stakeholders’ respective objectives.
