We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR). You will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departmental functions, including research activities at OCMR and the general operations of the research facility. Additionally, you will assist in procuring and processing financial transactions accurately and in accordance with university financial controls.

 

Your responsibilities will include addressing general research inquiries and forwarding information to relevant professionals while upholding confidentiality and complying with the Data Protection Act. Also reviewing and approving occasional expense claims for Research Fellows and study participants seeking reimbursements for expenses related to activities such as conference attendance and travel.  

 

You are required to be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent and have excellent IT skills including experience in using MS Office. Experience of working within a Higher Education institution or within a service industry environment would be desirable.

 

This is a part-time appointment (0.4 FTE) on a fixed term contract for 3 years and you will be based at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR), Level 0, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, OX3 9DU
