Project Change & Communications Manager – Pay & Conditions

 

Location: Oxford city centre office with a flexible approach to hybrid working

Grade 8: £45,585 - £54,395 per annum

Role: 18 month fixed-term contract to support the delivery of the Pay & Conditions Review outcomes.

One full time role – or two part time roles at 0.5FTE, please specify your preference in your supporting statement. 

Internal secondments are considered.

 

About the Role

 

This is a new role that will provide high quality project change and communications in support of the implementation of the actions and initiatives flowing from the University’s recent Pay & Conditions Review. The actions and initiatives are broad and varied and include the continued development of a new Academic Career and Reward Framework for academic teaching and research staff at the University.

 

The post holder will be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment to produce high quality, clear communications, suitable for a broad internal audience. They will be able to think strategically about how to communicate to deliver agreed objectives and key messages and to create and execute plans efficiently. The post-holder will be a point of reference for the entire project team, providing expert skills, recommendations and advice on communications, working with staff at all levels.

 

About You

 

You will be a motivated, creative problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively and getting things done. You will be a good listener and enjoy forming relationships with diverse stakeholders.

 

You will have proven experience in managing HR communications and change initiatives in a large, complex organisation with multiple stakeholder groups. You will have a strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, and be confident in assimilating complex information and ideas quickly to make them accessible to a wider audience through a variety of communications channels.
