Reward Business Partner

Human Resources, Hybrid working/Littlegate House, Oxford.

Full-time (requests for part-time working will be considered). Multiple roles available.

A number of exciting opportunities have arisen to join the University of Oxford’s Reward Team as it expands to develop and embed a Total Rewards strategy and offering.

The Reward Business Partner is a new role responsible for ensuring our reward strategies are aligned with the University’s broader objectives, as well as with the specific needs of our divisions and departments. You’ll partner with HR teams across the University to develop and implement reward initiatives that attract, retain, and motivate our staff. This is a strategic position that requires a deep understanding of reward practices and a consultative approach to advising stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing reward initiatives which underpin divisional and departmental strategy and working with colleagues in the relevant departments and wider reward team to align strategic direction. You will act as a trusted advisor to divisional and departmental teams on reward-related matters, providing guidance and support on reward policies, processes, and best practices.

You will have strong knowledge of reward strategies, with proven experience in advising stakeholders on reward-related matters along with a professional, proactive approach to supporting line managers, providing persuasive and effective advice. You will possess the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels and build strong working relationships and the organisational capability to balance day-to-day tasks with longer-term projects.

You will be required to upload a CV and a supporting statement outlining how you meet the selection criteria as part of your application.

Applications close at 12 noon on 16 December 2024.
