As MBA Recruitment & Admissions Manager, you will lead a dedicated team and collaborate closely with the MBA Director and Associate Dean for MBA and Executive Degrees. You will spearhead recruitment efforts, ensuring a robust pipeline of high-calibre candidates, and contribute to achieving revenue targets of £7 million within your region.

 

This role combines strategic leadership, marketing acumen and relationship management to recruit outstanding candidates and foster connections with alumni. You will work across departments, including alumni relations, programme administration and marketing, to achieve shared goals.

 

Key responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy and budget for the designated region.

  • Represent the business school at global events and engage with prospective students, alumni and organisations.

  • Review and assess applications, contributing to the MBA Admissions Committee’s decisions.

  • Ensure a seamless admissions experience for candidates, from inquiry to enrolment.

  • Stay abreast of trends in the MBA market, adapting strategies to meet evolving needs.


You will have proven leadership experience managing small to mid-sized teams and a strong track record in customer-facing roles, building and maintaining relationships with students, alumni and organisational partners. Exceptional communication skills, experience in writing and presenting proposals, and expertise in budget development and management, are essential.

Reporting to the Associate Director of MBA Recruitment & Admissions, the role holder will work with individuals and organisations to provide a strong pipeline of applicants for the MBA programme in a particular region. The role holder will be expected to take part in developing MBA recruitment and yield strategy, and to help set and to meet recruitment and admissions targets in the region. A part of the remit will be to ensure that alumni remain connected with the School and to involve alumni in the recruitment process. The Recruitment & Admissions Manager will maintain excellent working relationships and regularly collaborate with faculty and administrators at the School. Responsibilities  Present the business school and its programmes to companies and to individuals who are prospective applicants to our programmes around the world  Lead the efforts of a cross functional team that includes those from alumni relations, recruitment and careers to generate a pipeline of high quality applicants for the MBA  Work with the MBA Marketing Manager to regularly adapt marketing strategy and approaches and develop online marketing campaigns to drive regional traffic to the programme.  Plan and attend recruitment activities in collaboration with other members of the MBA recruitment team  Develop strong working relationships with relevant organisations in the region(s)  Maintain excellent working relationships with the MBA Director and other programme directors, faculty and administrators to design new ways of attracting high quality individuals and ensure that the School has a good pipeline of applicants for programmes.  Monitor and analyse competitor activity and trends  Work collaboratively with other teams supporting the MBA programme  Work closely with the programme administration team, to enhance the student experience  Develop and maintain expertise about the MBA market and how it is evolving  Participate in the MBA admissions process by reviewing applications at each stage throughout the year, and provide input to the MBA Admissions Committee  Take a lead with the Associate Director of MBA recruitment in transferring knowledge Specifically, the Recruitment Manager will:  Develop a strategy and budget for recruitment of MBA students in the specified world region(s)  Be a part of a team that will recruit the highest possible quality applicants for the incoming MBA class, in line with the School’s strategic objectives.
