<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>The Cognitive Neurology Group led by Prof Masud Husain are looking for a highly motivated Research Co-ordinator to integrate into an international team of scientists and clinicians who study motivation and memory in healthy people and patients with neurological disorders.&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The post is full-time, fixed term for up to 3 years.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The post holder will be a member of a research group with responsibility for carrying out research in healthy participants and patients. Other duties include coordinating and administering the research program and associated activities across all sites, assisting in project planning, writing protocols and ethics committee applications, and ensuring that study protocols, and regulatory requirements are followed. They will also be involved in the recruitment of participants, database management and development, and provide guidance to less experienced members of the research group, including students.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will have completed a period of undergraduate training in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Sciences or a related field.&#160; You will have at least a 2.1 degree (or equivalent) with a good knowledge of Psychology or Neuroscience with experience of conducting behavioural or cognitive studies.&#160; Ideally, as well as database management, website development and experience of using statistical methods, you will have excellent organisational and communication skills to be a success in this role.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Whilst this role is a Grade 7 position, we would be willing to consider less experienced candidates who might be suitable for the role with adjusted duties to be offered at a lower Grade 6: &#163;32,332 - &#163;38,205 pa.&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The closing date for applications is midday on 6th October 2023.&#160; It is anticipated that interview will be held on Monday 30th October.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be required to upload a supporting statement explaining how you meet the job requirements, as well as a CV and details of two referees as part of your online application.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>To apply for this role and for further details, including the job description and selection criteria, please see the link below</div> </div>
