Network and Data Centre Services, working hybrid or office-based as preferred.

**About the Role **





As Head of Network and Data Centre Services, you will lead a significant
service delivery group in IT Services, responsible for supporting all aspects
of campus networking and data centre services critical to enabling the
business of the University. In 2023/24 the group is leading key projects for
the scaling-up of managed network services (including wireless),
implementation of campus-wide IPv6, and the replacement or upgrading of
University network infrastructure.





**About You **





You will be an experienced leader of IT teams comprising professional network
or IT infrastructure experts, with the capability of overseeing and
prioritising a complex portfolio of service and project delivery. You will be
comfortable providing strategic direction and making the business case to IT
governance bodies for network and data centre services, using your expertise
and that of your teams, together with excellent communications, influencing
and negotiation skills. Whilst open and collaborative in working with others
you will be happy taking responsibility and being accountable for the services
delivered by your group.
