<div>We have an exciting opportunity to join the Oxford Vaccine Group in the Department of Paediatrics as our Programme Manager IMMPROVE.</div><br>

<div>You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of the MRC funded IMMPROVE project. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled manager with expertise in managing research projects to play a central role in the delivery of industrial and academic work Professor’s Lambe’s research portfolio.</div><br>

<div>The Programme Manager (PM) will be responsible for developing and implementing a transparent</div><br>
<div>and equitable governance structure, monitoring key performance indicators, reporting to funders,</div><br>
<div>and overseeing the operational management of the research project. Opportunities will be</div><br>
<div>available to be involved in Prof Lambe’s broader portfolio and support the ongoing work in vaccine</div><br>
<div>immunology and Emerging Pathogens.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>This position is offered full-time on a fixed-term contract initially for four years with the possibility to extend provided further external funding is available.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>The Programme Manager will be based at the Oxford Vaccine Group, Churchill Hospital and requires on site working 3-4 days a week, with 1-2 days a week that can be flexible for remote working.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>This role meets the criteria for a UK Skilled Worker visa.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div><strong>About you</strong> </div><br>
<div>The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and management skills and be able to</div><br>
<div>interact productively and accurately with other team members, researchers and collaborators.</div><br>
<div>While this collaborative approach will be a key feature of your role, you will also be required to work independently, taking the lead in initiatives. You will be able to handle a demanding and</div><br>
<div>varied workload, managing your time and prioritising your work effectively.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>You will have experience in setting up, delivering scientific projects, ensuring that both</div><br>
<div>day to day project coordination and activities are completed to a high standard.</div><br>
<div>You will need to be highly organised, able to deal with complex information, and able to prioritise</div><br>
<div>a varied workload to meet deadlines. Previous experience in project management in</div><br>
<div>vaccinology/immunology is preferred for this position.</div><br>
