**About the role**



Applications are invited for a part time Research Assistant in 3D Tissue
Printing to work under the supervision of Professor Hagan Bayley and Dr Linna
Zhou for a period of up to 6 months. The project involves the advancement of
the existing technology and includes increasing the speed and the fidelity of
printing living cells. and is funded by ERC PoC Synthetic Neural Implant
project.

**About you**





You should have a degree in physics or engineering. The research requires
experience in one or more of these fields: coding, electronics, micromachines
and microfluidics, and optical microscopy. You will be expected to manage your
own academic research and administrative activities and have excellent
communication skills, including the ability to write text that can be
published and be able to keep good laboratory records and archive data in an
organised manner





The post will be based in the Department of Chemistry, Chemistry Research
Laboratory, Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA and is to start as soon as
possible.
