<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a IOI Communications Officer at the Ineos Oxford Institute for antimicrobial resistance (IOI) based at the University of Oxford. The postholder will be responsible&#160;for developing and maintaining a&#160;wide range of communications content to showcase the impact of the IOI and its scientific programmes.&#160;The&#160;Communications officer will be responsible for supporting delivery of the IOI communications strategy.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The role will involve supporting&#160; the implementation of the IOI communications strategy, as well as professionally deliver some&#160;aspects of the communications strategy including the successful roll-out of editorial and events calendars,&#160;content generation and promotion of the IOI science, values and partnerships on social media.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will create&#160;&#160;a wide range of science communications tasks and activities: updating the IOI website, generating a&#160;range of written documents describing projects to a varied audience, and supporting the planning and organisation&#160;of events and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This post will report to the Communications and&#160;Engagement Manager (who also works across both departments) and will liaise with numerous other staff across&#160;the wider University.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be educated to A-Level (or equivalent professional experience) in STEM and have a passion for science&#160;communication. You must be able to demonstrable experience of science communications and engagement activities. The successful candidate must demonstrable experience of working with external stakeholders and communities.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This is a fixed term position available on a full time basis.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Applications for this vacancy are to be made online.
