The Oxford School of Global and Area Studies (OSGA) at the University of
Oxford is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Administrative and
Communications Assistant.



The Administrative and Communications Assistant will be supporting a research
programme hosted by the School and funded by the John Fell OUP Research Fund.
The project, led by Dr Anna Wilson from the Russian and East European Studies
(REES), aims to create a major interdisciplinary research hub “International
Multimodal Communication Collaboration” (IMCC) and to conduct collaborative
interdisciplinary research on multimodal depictions of futures in media in
preparation for a UKRI large grant application. Reporting to the Project
Investigator (PI), the Administrative and Communications Assistant will be
liaising with the hub team members and collaborators, helping organize
research and networking events and prepare drafting grant applications.





This is a fixed-term, variable hours’ appointment ( up to 100 hours in total),
to start as soon as possible, available until 14th October 2024. The post
holder will be working remotely most of their time.





The successful candidate will be a competent user of computer-based and online
applications, such as Oxford Mosaic software, YouTube, MS Teams, and doodle
polls. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and previous experience
supporting communications activities, both print and digital, are essential
