Internal Communications Manager (Maternity Cover)

The Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford) is seeking to appoint
an Internal Communications Manager. This is a fixed term maternity cover post
to the 31st December 2024. The role based in central Oxford.
As the Department’s Internal Communications Manager, you will be responsible
for developing and implementing the Department’s communications strategy,
aimed at academics, researchers, professional, technical and support staff,
and strengthening awareness, participation and information-sharing within the
Department.
The post-holder will be responsible for developing, maintaining and evaluating
internal communications channels including staff newsletters, the Intranet,
staff briefings, and engagement activities.
The role reports directly to the Communications, Events and Marketing Manager
and will work closely with other members of the Communications and Events
team, however, the postholder will have contact with a wide variety of key
staff within the Department.
Hybrid working is available.
