Finance Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Biology Finance team.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to support the P2P
Finance Officer and help manage a dynamic and busy team working within the
purchase ledger area.





You will provide key transactional and customer-facing support across the
department, in line with University financial controls. You will have
experience working in Finance, supervising and training others, assigning work
across a team, a strong focus on customer service and a sound understanding of
the use of IT in administration.





The successful candidate will have outstanding team working skills and proven
experience of managing others whilst handling day to day high-volume finance
transactions. They will need to demonstrate attention to detail along with
good organisational and prioritisation skills.





Strong Excel and financial systems skills are also key requisites. A working
knowledge of Oracle R12 and SAP expenses is desirable.





This post is full time (although applications to work 80% of full time are
welcome).
