<div>This is an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Research Assistant to work alongside world renowned scientists at the Oxford Vaccine Group (OVG) in a team led by Professor Sir Andrew Pollard and Dr Young Chan Kim.</div><br>

<div>The successful candidate will work on the development of a novel vaccines against alphaviruses and Chagas disease using adenoviral vectors and mRNA, to assess it in pre-clinical models. You will be required to support the Principal Investigator and other senior researchers in the day-to-day work of this project.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>The postholder should have a BSc or MSc, with some relevant research experience, sufficient knowledge of pre-clinical research and of immunological methods to work within established research programmes. You must be an enthusiastic and self-motivated, technically competent and capable of working independently in a laboratory.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>This position is offered full-time on a fixed-term contract initially for 12 months with the possibility to extend provided further external funding is available. At the end of this appointment, there may be an opportunity for the suitable post-holder to be enrolled into a funded DPhil (PhD) programme from 2024-2025 academic year.</div><br>

<div>This role meets the criteria for a UK Skilled Worker visa.</div><br>
