The portfolio comprises a collection of major technology investment projects and programmes of work in support of the University&#8217;s Research strategic aims and operational priorities. This includes our digital services, infrastructure and capabilities enabling the pursuit of world-leading research (e.g. through high performance computing and the use of advanced technologies in research), supporting the research process (e.g. provision of trusted data environments and dissemination of research outputs), and securing the resources for research (e.g. systems for managing research funding).</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The role is offered as a 6-month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity with possible extension.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This role requires experience working within a Research operations context at the University, along with knowledge of our internal IT programmes and projects processes, preferably gained from involvement with delivery of technology change.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>Application Process&#160;</strong></div><br> <div>This is an&#160;<strong>internal vacancy</strong>&#160;and for&#160;<strong>staff from Oxford University and colleges only.</strong>&#160;External applicants need not apply.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Please ensure that you include a supporting statement that explains how you meet the three criteria stated above, and what you believe you can bring to the role as well as a copy of your CV.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The <strong>closing date</strong> for applications is <strong>Wednesday 15 November at 12:00 noon</strong>.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>Interviews</strong> will take place on the week commencing <strong>27 November.</strong></div> </div>
