<div>As a Trusts & Foundation Officer at the University of Oxford, you will have the unique opportunity to work with leading experts addressing urgent world challenges, as well as enabling outstanding students to study at Oxford through the power of philanthropy.</div><br>

<div>Your work will be both challenging and rewarding. You will work closely with the Head of Development - Foundations and Corporations and development colleagues</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating major philanthropic partnerships with trusts and foundations, soliciting gifts up to £500k, typically in the range of £50k - £250k.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>Our team works collaboratively across all subject areas, so you will have opportunities to work on a range of impactful projects in the sciences and social sciences. In the role, you will be prospecting and developing your own pipeline, negotiating gifts, and managing stewardship activity.  You will be supported by other members of the Foundations and Corporations Team as well as the wider Development Office but will be expected to work independently and to identify new opportunities to develop good working relationships with existing donors and new prospects with the aim of securing funding.</div><br>

<div><strong>To be successful in this role: </strong></div><br>

<ul><br>
<li>You will have proven fundraising and/or marketing experience and the capability of representing the University at the highest levels.</li><br>
<li>You are highly motivated and enthusiastic about the impact of research and teaching, and confident about achieving ambitious income targets</li><br>
<li>You will be entrepreneurial and possess diplomacy, creativity and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.</li><br>
<li>You will have proven ability to develop good working relationships with academic colleagues, and new and existing supporters at all levels, and the creativity, discretion and tenacity to manage multiple projects.</li><br>
