This will be the first time we will have a contracted member of staff dedicated to offering this support.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This role will offer guidance and support to students who have been accused of sexual misconduct such as violence and/or harassment, working alongside the student in a non-judgmental, trauma-informed and confidential manner, identifying any support and welfare needs, exploring impact on the students&#8217; studies, assessing potential risk to the individual and the community, and safety planning. Tailoring the support to individual need, whilst being non-directive and pro-active, support could include providing information on what to expect from college or university disciplinary processes, practical steps and signposting to ongoing relevant support.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The Specialist caseworker (Accused Support) operates alongside, but separately to the support service for survivor students.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The Specialist Caseworkers will be responsible for their own casework. They will contribute to policies and the operational development of the service and the support offer for accused students, deliver training, and develop a particular area of interest or need, alongside supporting the wider work of the Support Service within colleges, departments and external providers.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Please upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your online application.
