<div><strong>About the Role</strong></div><br>

<div>The Blavatnik School of Government is seeking a Research Assistant to provide research support for the project “Elite voices: Understanding the inner workings of human rights diplomacy”, funded by the John Fell Oxford University Press Research Fund.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>Reporting to Dr Pilar Elizalde, you will manage your own research and administrative activities, select, follow and adapt specialist methodologies, and contribute to the design of research materials. You will also gather, analyse and present qualitative and quantitative data, undertake literature reviews and contribute to research publications and policy reports, as well as develop original visualisations for the presentation of research results.</div><br>

<div>This is a variable hours post that will require to work between 160 and 200 hours total, spread over 3 months (to be discussed with the Principal Investigator).</div><br>

<div><strong>About You</strong></div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>You must hold a postgraduate degree and be working towards a doctorate in a relevant discipline, and have the ability to manage your own research and administrative activities. You must have excellent communication skills and excellent skills with quantitative text analysis and data visualisation. Excellent command of R, including Shiny Apps, is also essential.</div><br>
