**About the Role**





We are seeking a skilled finance professional to join the UAS and GLAM
Divisional Finance Team, which provides financial support to a range of key
departments at the heart of the University, ranging from Professional Services
(Estates, IT, Finance, HR etc.) to some of the University’s most prestigious
cultural institutions, including the Bodleian Libraries, the Botanical
Gardens, and the Ashmolean Museum.





This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional team, which contributes
in a vital way to the work of Oxford’s central services, and the management of
cultural resources of international importance.





Working as a trusted finance business partner, you will be responsible for all
budgeting, forecasting, planning and ongoing analysis of a defined area of the
Division’s portfolio of departments, and act as a key point of reference for
their operational teams.

You will be based in Hythe Bridge Street but you may be able to agree a
pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.





**About You**





You will have a professional accountancy qualification, supplemented by broad-
based, relevant post-qualification accounting experience in a senior financial
management role, with proven and demonstrable technical skills, including
project accounting, budgetary control, and financial planning.





You will possess strong financial acumen with the ability to deal sensitively
with key issues and gain the confidence of staff at all levels. You will have
highly effective verbal and written communication skills with finance and non-
finance staff and an ability to operate effectively in an intellectually
demanding and complex environment.
