<p></p><div>We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher for the Regenerative Economy Lab and Living Library (RELL). In this role, you will be a core part of this program team responsible for managing and analysing data across the project coming from Oxford and its partner organisations. The purpose of the role is to add key skills and focused capacity on the unique data at the heart of this project. The researcher will be involved in all aspects of the project including quarterly partner workshops and field visit(s) to the project site in Kenya. The postholder will work closely with the PI’s, including Co-I’s in the Oxford Sustainable Food program, and the project partners. The postholder is encouraged to participate in our development of a network of scientists whose research intersects with the furthering of regenerative business knowledge and collaborations.</div><br>

<div>In the RELL programme we seek to assess progress and recommend potential changes that would further the development and operation of regenerative business.  We understand a regenerative business most broadly as one that gives back more than it takes by capturing carbon, increasing biodiversity, and furthering social equity. In this project we will look to analyse the trade-offs between climate, biodiversity, and social equity in agricultural systems. This role within the SSEE is created from an Oxford Strategic Innovation Fund Grant for the Regenerative Economy Lab and Living Library (RELL). This is a year long project conducted in partnership with Cranfield University and a multinational corporate partner. Research will be conducted through collaborative knowledge sharing including that of the corporate partner’s agricultural production, social context data, and Cranfield’s World Soil Survey Archive and Catalogue (WSSAC).</div><br>

<div>The successful candidate will hold a DPhil in a relevant field such as geography, biology, or food systems for a Grade 7. Those nearing completion of a DPhil or with equivalent experience will be considered as a Grade 6 with amended responsibilities. As part of your role you must show evidence of research ability including publications and presentations at international conferences. You will have excellent data management skill. Experience in the analysis of complex data related to nature and agriculture. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills. The postholder must have the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team of researchers across the physical sciences, social sciences and professional business environments and to network and set up new contacts.</div><br>
